Job Description:
Position Overview: Security Risk Analyst with 0-1+ years of experience Responsible for identifying, analysing, and mitigating potential security risks within an organization's systems, networks, infrastructure and manufacturing devices and systems within the organization. This position is for who are passionate about cybersecurity and risk management.

Will work closely with senior security analysts and IT teams to assess and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on exercises in conducting risk assessments, identifying assets, threats, vulnerabilities, and calculating risk scores.

Risk Assessment Methodologies

Overview of industry-specific regulations and standards of cybersecurity guidelines.

Knowledge of OT (Manufacturing Operational Technology) protocols, communication networks, and unique security challenges in manufacturing environments.

Effective communication skills training for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Evaluate the impact of various factors on the overall risk exposure.

Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in the field of cyber risk quantification. Contribution towards improvement of methodologies and strategies.

Review corporate policies and procedures according to regulatory requirements and must have knowledge on NIST, ISO27001.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

While certifications are not typically expected from entry-level candidates, obtaining foundational certifications can demonstrate commitment and enhance knowledge. Consider certifications such as:

CompTIA Security+

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) - entry-level version

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for preparing reports, documentation, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Critical thinking and decision-making skills to assess complex security risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
