Role: Cloud Engineer

Role Description: Understand the cloud solutions, work on its implementation and provide support for Azure/Google pubic clouds in liaison with customer/application teams. Has expertise in Azure and Google Public Clouds and is capable of embedding these capabilities into existing or new cloud-based infrastructure solutions/PaaS solutions.

Work Experience: 3 -7 years

Education: BE/BTECH/MCA.

Must Have Skills: Cloud engineering in Azure/Private Cloud(Redhat Openstack).

Job Requirements

Working with customers and engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for Azure/Google cloud.

Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications and migration to Azure/Google public cloud.

Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, work with Azure/Google support teams to solve cloud platform issues on priority.

Building and designing web services in the cloud, along with implementing the set-up of geographically redundant services.

Hands on experience creating, removing, scaling & migrating Compute and Storage resources in Azure/Google Public Cloud.

Expertise in compute solutions including vertical and horizontally scaling solutions in physical, virtual and cloud environments for various mission critical application platforms.

Understanding of up-to-date architecture concepts and system integration principles pertaining to Servers, Storage, Database (RDBMS/NoSQL/BigData, etc.),Network & Security (Firewalls, Load balancers, VPC),Backup, Virtualization, Cloud Deployments.

Sound knowledge of web architecture including https, dns, ip, ssl, routing, caching, cdn,etc.

Implementation of cloud solutions as per the customer requirements and provide white glove support till application go live.

Thorough knowledge on PAAS solutions available for DB, Kubernetes, Web on Azure Public Cloud & google cloud.

Sound knowledge software defined networking like VPN, VPC, Express route, gateways, NSG and firewalls.

Deep hands-on expertise in DevOps practice including infrastructure, automation, software delivery automation and infrastructure and application monitoring and measurement using tools such Powershell, Terraform, Ansible etc.

Sound knowledge of Azure/google pricing and cloud Billing Reporting.
