Job Summary:
Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation Studios is looking for a project manager as parental cover for 13 months within the User Research team in London (UK).
The project manager will be responsible for the planning, resourcing, and the coordination of research projects within a team of 15 researchers and support staff. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and will work with all members of the research team, as well as game development staff to ensure successful planning of research.
The role will require you to be onsite for a minimum of 1 day a week. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can travel to our London office.

Job Description:
User Research Planning & Coordination
As the central point of contact for all logistical aspects of the User Research team and the research lab, you will be the primary interface for the communication and operations associated with the lab:
- Plan the test schedule; Take bookings, coordinate availability of the researchers, facility, and external suppliers with excellent attention to detail.
- Handle contingency workers coming onsite to support test execution.
- Proactively review the test schedule to anticipate conflicts and handle re-scheduling.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope.
- Communicate schedule changes to research staff in a timely manner.
- Responsible for completing all paperwork relating to recruitment of members of the public, in compliance with Legal and data protection rules.
- Track key project information to create reports.
- Raise invoices and assign costs to other departments.
- Manage procurement including purchase orders and invoice reconciliation.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office space and user research facility.
- Maintain the condition of the office and facility, arranging repairs and maintaining supplies.
- Work with the facilities team to ensure cleaning and maintenance of our research facilities.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work independently whilst maintaining confidentiality, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Organised: Adapts to shifting priorities using analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Service oriented approach: Always professional and helpful both internally and with client teams.
- Works collaboratively with others and provides support and assistance to colleagues.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Has commercial experience in coordination, project support or administration roles.
- Experience with project finance and/or accounting.
