The Opportunity

There has never been a more exciting time to work in the Intergovernmental Relations and Community Programs team at the WA Department of Health.

A focus on wide-ranging and high-profile national system reforms across aged care, disability and health have created extraordinary opportunities for the WA Health system.

The Community Programs teams design and deliver strategic programs at the interface of the hospital system and aged care, disability and broader health and community service systems, including programs that support timely discharge from hospital. There are a variety of roles available across contract management, program oversight, data and business analysis.

The Department of Health is looking to create a pool of suitable applicants to fill current and future vacancies. This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent and Fixed Term Full Time and Part Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30 December 2025.
