Join us as a HR Generalist and become  responsible for performing a diverse range of people-related activities that directly contribute to creating a positive employee experience by partnering with managers and the HR team in executing HR processes in an efficient and effective manner.


You will perform tasks that directly support processes in the following functional areas: payroll administration, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, office administration, and other initiatives/projects related to employee experience operations and engagement.


What You Will Do

  • Full responsibility for the day-to-day HR operations pertaining to the employees as well as being the first point of contact for employees for all HR queries and escalating as needed, for Belgium, Netherlands and France.
  • Full responsibility for payroll inputs and absence administration for Belgium, Netherlands, and France; while supporting the Finance team to ensure a smooth and accurate processing of employee wages on a monthly basis.
  • Liaise closely with the social secretaries and local payroll providers to ensure data accuracy of employee information is maintained.
  • Act as a back-up for other colleagues in the team for payroll & PX Operations queries for the countries they support (Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, Portugal and India)
  • Ensure the onboarding and exit process is done in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all employee benefits are maintained and updated as required, including vendor liaison and updating employees with the relevant information as needed; plus ensuring data is correctly tracked and maintained.
  • Provide administrative support for the maintenance of the company car fleet across Europe
  • Serve as a HRIS systems expert to help managers use the system to access team data and manage their people leader role and responsibilities.
  • Support the employees in the Ieper office, acting as a representative of the HR function and being a trusted advisor
  • Support the offices in Ieper, Belgium - ordering food and stationery items, vendor liaison for cleaning & maintenance, participation in the social committee, etc.
  • Work closely with teams from other regions to adopt best practices and ensure local processes are best optimized and in line with global policies 
  • Support the larger HR team goals and priorities, in order to ensure a seamless employee experience.


What Experience You Bring

  • At least 2 to 5 years of prior experience in a similar role, preferably in an international organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of HR policies, procedures and Belgium employment/social law
  • Perfectly trilingual in English, Dutch and French

Travel Expectation

We have a hybrid working regime, so expect presence in any of the European offices at least three days in a week.  The role is primarily based in the Ieper office, but regular visits to the Leuven office will be needed.  Due to the main responsibilities being for employees based in France and Netherlands, there will be an expectation to visit their offices on a regular basis as well.
