Location : Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)

Duration : 12+ Months Long Term Contract

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Architect and develop robust automated test frameworks and test scripts for new and existing software applications.
• Strategy and Planning: Define and implement the overall test automation strategy, including selection of tools, frameworks, and best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient test automation processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and maintain automated test metrics, monitor test execution, and report on test results and performance to stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation, including debugging scripts, fixing failures, and optimizing test performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test automation frameworks, processes, and test cases.

Qualifications

• Min 15 years’ experience in Test Automation
• Should have performed Test automation architect role for minimum of 5 yrs and should be able to come out with a Test automation strategy involving Web – Java/Selenium, SQL, Message Queues, Data flow validation (via XML/MXML/CSV files)
• Should have experience in building Automation frameworks and defining Automation implementation roadmap for large enterprises.
• Experience in working with cross functional teams on diverse delivery models, leveraging cross location distributed teams
• Knowledge of current industry wide Quality & Test processes and practices, Tools and techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and services.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
