Who Will You Work With:

Our client is a pioneering player in the automotive industry, leveraging innovative technologies to shape the future of mobility. You will join the One Engine Software Download team, a dynamic and agile group working on groundbreaking digital solutions, including enabling seamless software updates for vehicles over the air, cable, and Wi-Fi.

About the Role:

As a Java Developer – One Engine, you will play a vital role in developing scalable and high-performing software solutions for downloading and installing updates in vehicles. You will work in an agile environment where your contributions will span reviewing requirements, writing production-ready code, performing code reviews, and designing high-quality, scalable architecture.

This role is a 6-month B2B contract based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a strong potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team to deliver software updates for vehicles over multiple channels.

Develop backend and frontend solutions with a primary focus on Java (experience with .Net/C# is a plus).

Work with databases like MongoDB and Cosmos DB, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and utilize tools like Kubernetes, Typescript, and Azure Cloud Services.

Contribute to UI/UX development, particularly with Angular.

Work with network programming protocols such as TCP/UDP and vehicle protocols like CAN, CAN-FD, DoIP, and UDS.

Participate in Agile processes, including code reviews and team planning.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in Java and experience with .Net/C#.

Experience in Windows desktop application development using WinUI/WPF.

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Typescript, Azure Cloud Services, and Angular.

Familiarity with network programming and vehicle communication protocols.

Experience in DevOps scenarios in business-critical consumer environments.

A passion for user-centric development and understanding user needs and journeys.
