Freelance Frontend Developer, ReactJS, Remote

Role Description

This is a full-time remote contract (freelance) role for a Frontend Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS and NextJS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design software solutions.
• Implement UI designs as responsive and high performing HTML/CSS/JS.
• Create new web applications and/or managing existing ones with vanilla JS, ReactJS or NextJS.
• Build reusable code, components and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 to 6 years of experience in frontend development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in JavaScript.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of React, React Hooks, Redux, RESTful APIs, JavaScript (jQuery, AJAX, OOP, MVVM) ability to write reusable, modular and well-performing code.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in NextJS, including server side rendering, Next App Router, Next API management, Next-Auth and other Next specific technologies.
• Good level of English is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in using the Git system (GitHub)
