Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Creating and testing new software in MATLAB/Simulink environment;
• Developing of existing software solutions based on demands of new software structure;
• Designing and developing the data transmission via CAN bus between electrical devices;
• Testing and checking the software on the demo board;
• Support for the production line during starting up of the prototype vehicles;
• Verification and solving the problems on the prototype vehicles based on theVector tools (CANalyzer, Canape);
• Integration of new devices dedicated for hardware architecture;
• Responsibility in area of the contact with the doors system supplier -arrangement about software changes and explaining the current problems;
• Creating the requirements descriptions for each electrical systems installed in the bus (general information about how it works, what is correct/uncorrect, how it should be tested);
• Help with tasking connected with current products and developing the software solution in older architecture (checking and developing KIBES32 software, checking the correct parametrization of the buses in terms of electrical system, i.e. doors system, HVAC, dashboard buttons, etc.);
• Verification and solving the problems on the prototype vehicles based on the Vector tools (CANalyzer, Canape);
• Integration of new devices dedicated for hardware architecture;
• Development of PLC software (FBD, ST language)
• Adaptation of controller software to new standards and customer requests
• Development software in Matlab and Simulink according to new architecture
• Coordination and changing serial software
• Assessing the feasibility of new customer requests in terms of homologation and time requirements,
• Planning and implementation new technological solutions in city buses
• Solving production and service problems in software, electrics and electronics field, remotely and directly at customers in Europe
• Providing support to the service department when making software functionality changes in vehicles,

Developing customer requests in the LogiCad program for the KIBES 32 system, mainly:

• functionality of interior and exterior lighting,
• functionality of the air conditioning and heating system,
• functionality of the transmission and engine.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience with KIBES 32 software.
• Familiarity with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, Canape, Indigo, and Control desks.
• Strong understanding of data transmission via CAN bus.
