Role: Designer Women's Wear

We are looking for candidates having 3-5 yrs experience in youth wear multi-product categories for example with Knits & Woven etc.

Designer Job Description:

• Trend Analysis: Research and analyze seasonal trends, including colors, prints, fabrics, shapes and styling across categories.
• Specialization: Youth Women's Wear (Knit, Woven & Denim)
• Concept Development: Actively contribute to the development of seasonal concepts and themes that align with the market trends.
• Design Direction: Establish the print and silhouette direction for the brand, ensuring alignment with the latest trends, reacting to sales information and design commercially relevant fashion forward ranges.
• Range Development & Management: Create detailed sketches based on seasonal concepts, applying appropriate color schemes and prints, fabrics & shapes. Maintain line sheets to support seasonal range planning and design strategy.
• Tech pack Creation: Develop highly accurate tech packs that clearly illustrate design and construction details.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Buying and Sourcing teams to ensure smooth design development and execution.
• Fitting Sessions: Collaborate with the Tech team to lead fitting sessions and refine designs.
• Design Approvals: Oversee fabric, print, and surface design follow-ups and approvals.
• Calendar Management: Ensure timely execution of design tasks in alignment with the seasonal critical path..
• Presentation skills : Be well versed in articulating & presenting concepts & ideas
• Software skills : Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, MS Office, PLM & CLO 3D.
• Readiness to multitask and should have a proactive approach.
• Role will be based in our Head office in Dubai, UAE.
