Microsoft Data Security Cloud Solution Architects (CSA) Are Trusted Advisors For Customers Attempting To Secure Their Entire Data Estates Against Internal And External Data Risk. Microsoft Purview’s Integrated Data Security Services Support Customers Holistically Securing Their Data

• Protect Sensitive Data using data classification, sensitivity labelling and encryption policies.
• Manage Insider Risks using machine learning detection controls and indicators, adaptive protection to dynamically enforce controls and advanced privacy controls
• Prevent Data Loss using built in exfiltration policies for Microsoft 365 apps, services and endpoints.
  
  

Cloud Solution Architects support customers through the whole adoption lifecycle, through planning, adoption, deployment and optimization. You will typically work within small teams and have access to a significant library of training, certification and usage guiding resources.

Responsibilities

Customer Centricity

• Drive positive Customer Satisfaction & become a trusted advisor. Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners. Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
• Experience in the implementation (end to end) of Data Security projects with Data Security Platforms, preferably experience with Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Information Risk Management)
  
  

Accelerate customer outcome

• Share expertise, contribute to IP (Intellectual Property) creation & re-use to accelerate customer outcomes. Run Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution – governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. The outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production.
• Collaborate and orchestrate with other CSAs and Microsoft stakeholders including FastTrack, partners, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.
  
  

Business Impact

• Position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage and develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results & help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments. Identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging Solution Architect subject matter expertise.
• Deliver according to Microsoft best practices & using repeatable IP. Accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits “Secure by Design” framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
  
  

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND several years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• OR equivalent experience
• Good understanding of the principles of Data Security, such as data classification, encryption, sensitivity labelling, information protection policies and exfiltration controls
• Proven experience in the implementation (end to end) of Data Security projects with Data Security Platforms, preferably experience with Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Information Risk Management)
• Proven experience working with Microsoft 365 services and/or Azure data services such as Sharepoint, Teams, Office 365, SQL, Azure Data Lake Services.
• Ability to understand and speak Norwegian or Nordic language is mandatory.
  

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lead strategic customer conversations to educate and guide development of Data Security requirements.
• Ability to lead strategic customer conversations to develop Data Security Frameworks and solution architecture design.
• Several years’ experience working in customer-facing role (e.g. internal and/or external)
• Several years’ experience working on technical projects.
• Recognized Data Security certifications or Microsoft certifications in one or more of the following:
• SC-400 – Microsoft Information Protection and Compliance Associate
• SC-100 – Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert
• MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator
• SC-300 – Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
• MS-900 – Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
• SC-900 – Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  
  

Other technical certifications in Microsoft 365 and/or other Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
