Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager for Facilities Services to oversee and manage the planning, implementation, and delivery of various facilities management projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of facilities management projects, including renovations, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors/vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including facility managers, contractors, and clients, to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
- Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Track expenditures, approve invoices, and negotiate vendor contracts as necessary.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues that could affect project timelines or outcomes.
- Proactively address challenges and resolve problems in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure that all projects comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Perform quality checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure that all facilities maintenance and upgrades meet or exceed the required service standards.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and project goals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
- Post-Project Evaluation and Reporting:
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing project outcomes, budget adherence, and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a focus on facilities management, construction, or related services.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management best practices, building systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
