Platform and DevOps Engineer

This is with one of our Banking client.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide consultant service to stakeholders including developers, business users and others
• Collaborate with development, operations, and other stakeholders to align platforms with application and business requirements.
• Assist stakeholders to fit RBC standards / requirements.
• Maintain DevOps pipeline configuration and target for no-touch production deployment enablement.
• Identify and resolve issues related to cloud / VM infrastructure, networking and performance in a timely manner, e.g. Fix vulnerability issues
• Implement and manage cloud resources and service on Kubernetes cloud platforms, e.g. Openshift / Azure
• Setup monitoring, alerting and automated scaling to ensure the availability and performance of cloud resources.

• Python, C#, NodeJS, Angular, Java
• Docker, Kubernetes
• DevOps tools, SRE tools
• Cloud/VM configuration config management

Must-have Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experienced in application development
• Experienced in no-touch / low-touch CICD pipeline maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
• Familiarity with VM deployment and config management.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• CKAD
• Scrum master
• Cloud certificates
• Github Actions
