Short Description

Infosys is recruiting a Senior Consultant, skilled in DevOps and containerized builds and deployment. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Roles And Responsibilities

• As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and infrastructure within AWS environments using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodeDeploy.
• Develop infrastructure as code using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources in a repeatable and scalable manner.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scans into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Implement and manage AWS services for container orchestration, such as Amazon ECS or Kubernetes on AWS (EKS), to enable scalable and resilient application deployments.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions within AWS environments using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and AWS CloudTrail.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards within AWS environments, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure, deployments, and performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Stay updated on AWS services, features, and best practices to continuously optimize and improve DevOps processes and infrastructure.
  
  

Essential Skills Required

• DevOps , Jenkins, Docker, Java, AWS trained resources
• AWS Fundamentals
• Experience with tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket (Git) and Postman
• Containerized builds and deployment (Docker)
• Experience with Linux servers (basic Unix shell)
• Experience in Python,Java APIs,CI/CD,Terraform is a must.
• Remedy change and incident management processes
• Kubernetes Concepts(Pods/Nodes/namespaces/services/jobs) and Kubectl Commands
