Job Description

To integrate one of our clients' projects in the supermarket chain sector, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Coach. In this role, you will support and guide Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers in adopting and applying Agile practices while fostering the development of an Agile mindset across teams and the broader organization.

Your Tasks As An Agile Coach

  • Support Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers in applying Agile practices and fostering an Agile mindset.
  • Encourage transparency within teams about their operations and provide regular reporting to the client.
  • Adapt to various roles as needed, whether acting as a coach, mentor, or trainer, switching smoothly between these roles based on the situation.
  • Determine when to focus on Agile practices ("doing Agile") and when to emphasize Agile values and principles ("being Agile").
  • Increase support for Agile working across the organization, coaching managers to adopt Agile leadership practices.
  • Help create an organizational structure that strengthens Agile operations by identifying and addressing process and organizational obstacles.
  • Bridge the gap between Agile operations and project-based partners, ensuring smooth collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Agile Coach. Experience with scaled Agile practices, software development, and/or data context is a plus.
  • Autonomous: Proactive and self-directed in managing responsibilities.
  • Communicative: Strong ability to provide coaching and training, adapting communication to various audiences, and giving/receiving feedback constructively.
  • Analytical Ability: Skilled in identifying core issues while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture.
  • Conceptual Ability: Comfortable working with information that is not fully defined or understood.
  • Strategist: Able to build constructive working relationships with senior management, securing commitment to drive real organizational change.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong communication skills.
