We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our growing team!

The Opportunity

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and shape the development of a performant, resilient, and distributed platform based on Node.js, C++, and QT that aims to disrupt the gaming space. You will guide a cross-functional team of 7 across Development and QA, fostering collaboration and driving the continuous improvement of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of developers in maintaining and improving the platform's stability and performance.
• Ensure that all systems operate securely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and addressing issues promptly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers and QA teams, to plan and deliver incremental improvements aligned with business needs.
• Review, optimize, and refactor existing code to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Drive adherence to best practices in testing, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, focusing on their professional growth and technical excellence.
• Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce technical debt.
• Conduct thorough requirements analysis and oversee the implementation of critical updates and fixes.
• Track and prioritize team deliverables using project management tools, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Build a team culture that values accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
  
  

About you?

• 6 years of experience in backend software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role such as Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar.
• You are proficient in Node.js or C++, but experience with other languages is also welcome; familiarity with QT is highly valued.
• You have a strong track record in maintaining and optimizing large-scale, complex systems.
• You are skilled at identifying and resolving technical issues and addressing root causes efficiently.
• You excel at fostering collaboration within teams and building a strong team culture.
• You are passionate about software quality and reliability, ensuring that systems meet the highest standards.
• You have a strong command of both spoken and written English.
• A degree in Information Technology or a related field is considered an advantage.
• Background in fintech, DeFi, or iGaming is a nice-to-have.
