Secure Software Development Manager - Cyber Security

Proclinical is working alongside an exclusive client seeking a Secure Software Development Manager - Cyber Security. In this role, you will oversee security measures throughout the software development process, ensuring that software is designed and developed securely from the beginning and throughout all development phases. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and other departments to define, implement, and continuously improve security requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Introduce a security development lifecycle ("Secure by Design") in coordination with other departments and integrate it into ICT governance.
• Provide standards for the design of new services and the further development of existing ones.
• Supervise projects and line plans, determining the need for protection and designing safety measures.
• Engineer and implement security requirements within the software development process.
• Define and ensure security tests.
• Identify, record, analyze, monitor, assess, and manage risks for the department.
• Support the change manager with risk assessments in operational requests for changes.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Higher education in business informatics or a degree from a university of applied sciences with a focus on cybersecurity/risk management.
• Experience in cybersecurity or information risk management, including risk management for third parties.
• Certification such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders, senior executives, and technical experts.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to stay organized in hectic situations.
• Proficiency in German and advanced English; other foreign languages are an advantage.
