Tasks

As a Data Analyst you will shift the boundaries of SWISS’ data capabilities and take a pivotal role in advising SWISS’ senior management. Join us and bring data-driven decision-making to the next level!

  • Provide valuable data-driven insights supporting decision-making within SWISS’ Operations & Steering team and beyond
  • Create data visualizations, reporting and interactive dashboards, prepare business cases and scenario calculations
  • Create insightful analysis to help quantifying key drivers to optimize SWISS’ operational performance
  • Continuously develop and enhance operational data landscape to improve data quality & support automation
  • Foster data democratization and self-service capabilities across the company
  • Recommend and implement the best practices for data & advanced analytics (esp. predictive analytics)
  • Work closely with Operations Planning & Steering departments and effectively communicate data insights to appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A degree in analytical subjects (e.g., data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related fields)
  • Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Excellent SQL coding skills and command of at least one programming language (R or Python preferred)
  • Strong analytical capabilities, incl. data manipulation, analysis & interpretation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, esp. Excel & PPT
  • Experience in data science and/or data engineering is a significant advantage
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills; capable of writing and illustrating analyses and presentations
  • Ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels
  • Team player with strong communication and social skills
