The position

As a Software Architect, you will join our new development team within the e-health domain. The team will be a part of our organization responsible for developing our new platform built upon open standards that will serve the future of eHealth. The platform is designed to support enhanced data accessibility, innovation, and interoperability at scale.

In this position, you will enter an early stage of the development process and work with complex information systems designed for innovation and interoperability. We work with information systems that have very high requirements to scale which means you will fundamentally change how open platforms of the future will play a role in healthcare and welfare improvement.

A key part of Cambio Platform is to be able to share the development and management of clinical concepts and their surrounding artifacts such as apps, forms, terminologies, and openEHR archetypes and templates. Your team will enable us and our customers to accelerate, and streamline collaboration and development of apps and informatics within Cambio Platform and the wider eHealth ecosystem. As a Software Architect, you are a hands-on technical person with strong technical leadership qualities. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions and influence the product and the team from the beginning.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop frontend architectures for scalable eHealth applications, ensuring compliance with openEHR and FHIR standards.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product teams to deliver seamless and user-friendly healthcare applications.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in front-end development, including performance optimization, security, and maintainability.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, balancing short-term requirements with long-term architectural goals.

About You

We are searching for a passionate frontend focused Software Architect to join our new development team within the eHealth domain.

Requirements 

  • Deep understanding of Typescript and React.
  • Deep understanding of State Management Frameworks such as Redux, Saga.
  • Proven experience in front-end performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting, caching).
  • Familiarity with responsive web design and development, including mobile-first approaches.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English


It’s a bonus if you have

  • Experience in the eHealth domain and knowledge of Open EHR, FHIR or SNOMED CT it is a bonus
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, with experience collaborating with designers on user-centric solutions.
  • Experience deploying and managing frontend applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Communication skills in Swedish

Scope: Full time

Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
