The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be work with project teams and business stakeholders to design and implement advanced data science models to solve concrete business cases for our customers. You will deep dive into customer’s data, build solutions, generate actionable insights and apply machine learning models to generate business value and drive insights. You will have a tangible impact on existing and future solutions both internally and with the customer. You will directly work in industry projects and engage with external stakeholders to identify, investigate and analyze business processes and work practices.

Expected candidate profile and skills:

• Must possess excellent communication skills to effectively cooperate with peers and clients to deliver an agreed outcome. Fluent business English is necessary.
• At least 3 years of proven hands-on experience in data science, statistical modelling and analytics solutions, preferably in Supply Chain area (Planning, Demand Forecasting, others) with a good understanding of high to medium level business processes.
• Problem-solving, organization and presentation skills to identify opportunities, propose new strategies, prioritize tasks, collaborate with other team members and clients, and translate and implement findings in a timely manner into actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with the ability to understand, write and review clean, well-structured, readable and efficient code.
• Be open to exploring supply chain planning tools, understanding their functionalities, and performing comparative assessments for data science workflow implementations
• Experience with Azure environment, Git, DevOps, Databricks and Agile principles is a plus.
• Graduate or post-graduate in a technical field, preferably but not limited to Computer Science, Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or any related STEM fields.
