Junior Product Manager -- AI / Trucking

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Product Manager to join our dynamic team in the trucking industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

Our company uses React and Django frameworks built on top of GCP. You will need to have basic technical knowledge, and you will be expected to review work primarily via Git GUI. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trucking operations, an eagerness to learn, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, focusing on the needs of the trucking industry.
• Assist in creating and maintaining product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Work closely with development teams to prioritize and deliver product features that address real-world trucking scenarios.
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to drive product development and enhance features.
• Help manage the product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery of features.
• Review and analyze product performance data to track success, identify areas for improvement, and propose new features or optimizations.
• Provide technical insights and assist in product decisions, working with Git GUI and other development tools.
• Ensure product features are built in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  
  

Ideal Profile

Requirements

• Strong interest in the trucking industry, with a solid understanding of operations, logistics, and safety.
• Basic understanding of product management processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Basic technical knowledge, with familiarity in React, Django, and GCP environments.
• Ability to review and collaborate on work via Git GUI.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks.
