The company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Test Leader to join our team. As a Test Leader, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test strategies and plans, coordinating test resources, and ensuring the quality of deliveries. This role requires a hands-on approach to testing and active participation in the execution of tests. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance of complex IT systems, including both manual and automated testing, and handling releases/deployments. Certification in test methodology and relevant quality standards, such as ISTQB, is desired.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test strategies and plans
• Develop test cases for new/existing functionality
• Lead and coordinate super-users and other test resources
• Actively participate in the execution of tests
• Report progress and test results
• Follow up and prioritize bug fixes
• Establish and maintain release/deployment plans
• Coordinate release/deployment with development and operations
• Prepare release documentation/notes
• Enforce content and quality of deliveries
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree, master's level desirable
• 5+ years of experience with quality assurance of complex IT systems
• 5+ years of experience with handling releases/deployments
• Experience with relevant tools on the Microsoft platform
• Experience with modern development methodologies (DevOps/Scrum/Kanban)
  
  

Desirable qualifications:

• Certification in test methodology and relevant quality standards, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) is desired.
• Certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are desired. The Norwegian Continental Shelf Directorate works according to ITIL 4.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert will also be an advantage.
• Resources offered full-time (80 – 100% capacity) will be preferred.
