London (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)

This company is within the transportation and network space, and are aiming to revolutionise the space through their innovative product tackling daily struggles with transportation at the source.

Responsibilities:

• Build machine learning models for optimisation and simulation based modelling and make recommendations to optimize business performance
• Work on optimisation for resource allocation and products.
• Build models looking at historical data and uncovering real time system dynamics through live components, estimating time and travel.
• Evaluate all models, identifying areas for development
• Work on a mix of classical ML, simulation optimisation and deep learning
• Stay updated with the latest developments in ML/AI, and related fields to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements

Requirements:

• PhD Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with predictive and optimisation modelling
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
