Java Full-Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining software applications, ensuring operational excellence, and collaborating effectively to drive solutions that meet business needs. Responsibilities


  • Develop, debug, and modify components of software applications and tools
  • Drive operational excellence in production systems
  • Write automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests to support continuous integration pipelines
  • Support and fix data and system issues as required
  • Resolve problems and roadblocks with help from peers or managers, ensuring details are followed through and issues are driven to closure
  • Participate in user story creation in partnership with the team(s)
  • Build, test, deploy, and monitor services in various AWS environments including EKS, ECS, RDS, VPC, and CloudFormation
  • Program using server-side and client-side languages and frameworks such as HTTP REST, gRPC, Spring MVC/Boot, Docker, Kotlin, Java, Kafka, Flink, JavaScript, CSS, React, and Redux
  • Manage and operate SQL (PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora) or NoSQL (DocumentDB, Redis) databases
  • Use and maintain version control with GIT


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related major, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of Software Engineering experience in full stack development, Agile development methodology, continuous delivery, and related engineering practices
  • Proficiency in building, testing, deploying, and monitoring services in AWS environments
  • Expertise in server-side and client-side programming languages and frameworks including Spring MVC/Boot, Docker, Kotlin, Java
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS, React, and Redux
  • Background in SQL (PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora) or NoSQL (DocumentDB, Redis) databases
  • Experience with GIT for version control
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated commitment to technical excellence and a bias towards action
