Senior Full Stack Engineer / Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead / Full Stack Engineer to join our team. This role involves modernizing existing codebases, developing robust applications using React JS and Node.js, and leading a dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in full-stack development and team leadership, with a strong focus on delivering scalable, clean code for live systems. This is a Full-Time, Fully Remote position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers in achieving project goals
• Modernize existing codebases and improve system architecture
• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using React JS and Node.js
• Ensure code quality and scalability through adherence to best practices
• Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Leverage AWS native services (e.g., ECS, RDS, Cognito) to optimize application performance

Requirements

• Extensive experience in web application development using React JS and Node.js
• Proven experience managing and designing RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Expertise in coding best practices and processes
• In-depth familiarity with the complete suite of AWS Services, with particular depth in those that are heavily used when providing DevOps Automation solutions

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack web development
• At least 5 years of experience with Node.js and React.js
• Demonstrated ability to modernize and refactor existing codebases
• Proven track record in team management and leadership roles
