Job Description

The Technology Architecture team plays a key role in this major evolution. Responsible for ensuring that its technological strategy meets the challenges of CIB, the Technology Architecture team operates in this dynamic, international, bilingual English-French environment. Acting at several levels:

  • Advice at the development team level
  • Advice at the production team level
  • Instruction of governance processes
  • Definition of strategies around technical subjects such as API, BI, HTML5, ML, OCR, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, DevOps, Opensource, Blockchain…
  • Technology watch
  • Evangelization and Craftsmanship of best practices
  • Validation of technologies and tools
  • Exchanges with FinTech's and other external partners

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Technology Architecture reviews as below:
  • Inter-application and intra-application component dependencies;
  • Communication protocols and security standards;
  • Segmentation and/or micro-segmentation of application layers;
  • Awareness of Cloud Solutions, KaaS, IaaS, PaaS hosting solutions and offering and alignment according with the application requirements;
  • Advice and guidance on technology solutions to be adopted by applications;
  • Critical thinking to challenge technical designs;
  • Ensure compliance with all dimensions like: Continuity, Security, Confidentiality, Traceability
  • Technology Domain Qualification:
  • Identify the organization needs and requirements;
  • Identify and assess alternative solutions;
  • Competitive Intelligence in product selection among different providers and identify key differentiator factors;
  • Propose, justify and present product selection assessments

Technical Skills

  • Mature Architect mindset
  • Ability to understand the scope and purpose of an application and propose/guide the team to comply with the adequate principles, guidelines and patterns
  • Abstract and Analytical Thinking in order to assess if a technical design meets the organization standards
  • Enterprise Framework knowledge like TOGAF and/or Zachman
  • Experience in Architecture Modelling and representation using UML or any other Modeling Framework
  • Knowledge about Enterprise Design Patterns like SOA, EDA, DDD, Micro-Services
  • Ability to synthesize, organize and present reports to Management
  • English (read, spoken, written) - Expert
  • French (nice to have) - Practice
