Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System (EMS) for Matar by following and improving the Matar Environment Management Plan (EMP) to ensure all EMS processes are implemented effectively.
  • Plan and conduct internal and external EMS audits by developing and following audit plan to ensure ensure compliance and conformity with the ISO14001 standard.
  • Proven experience in Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation and management.
  • Strong background in IEnvA (International Environmental Auditor).
  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001.
  • Certified ISO 14001 Lead Implementor.
  • Specific experience in aviation and airport environmental management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CCA&M (Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation).
  • Proven ability to integrate climate change adaptation and mitigation measures into EMS practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and policies related to climate change.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting.

Qualifications

About the Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001
  • Certified ISO 14001 implementation personnel
  • Preferred Airport / Aviation Environmental Management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
