Data Centers – Network System Engineer

• Design, configure, and maintain networks within datacenters, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and optimize Juniper devices and other advanced network switches.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls and DDoS protection systems.
• Collaborate with the datacenter team to deploy and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
• Plan and implement network upgrades and capacity expansion projects.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure efficient operation.
• Work closely with the Abuse and Technical Support teams to resolve network-related incidents.
  

• Proven experience in configuring and managing Juniper devices and advanced switches.
• Hands-on experience working with datacenter network environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs) and routing principles.
• Expertise in implementing network security (firewalls, VPNs, and DDoS mitigation).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and systems.
• Problem-solving mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  

• Certifications like JNCIA, JNCIP, or equivalent.
• Experience with other networking hardware or software (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
• Familiarity with automation tools for network management.
• Previous experience in hosting companies or cloud service environments.
