We are continuing our partnership with a leading landscaping firm seeking a Project Manager to join the team.

Your new company

Headquartered in Melbourne, this award-winning landscaping firm has been improving processes throughout their history, to provide more sustainable solutions to landscaping throughout Victoria. With over 500 successful projects delivered to date, they are expanding their works and as such are looking to bring a Project Manager onto the team to oversee delivery of projects in Melbourne.

Your new role

You will be responsible for coordinating crews to deliver works on multiple projects simultaneously. Site visits, and program tracking will be involved with the day-to-day responsibilities around project financials, ensuring resources are provided to the delivery teams in your remit. 5 days per week, with minimal communication required outside of work hours, as this family business is respectful of a work/life balance. The projects delivered are up to $100k in value, generally focussed around waterways, re-vegetation and landscape development.

  • Management of multiple landscaping projects simultaneously
  • Coordination of work crews delivering projects throughout Melbourne
  • Client liaison, progress updates and material procurement
  • Understanding of, and adherence to environmental requirements and legislation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a management role on projects involving landscaping, waterways and public space restoration
  • Understanding of native Flora an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and planting schedules
  • Horticulture/Landscape Architecture qualification
  • Passion for sustainable practices contributing to a healthier natural environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
