Role Description


Supporting the Head of People and Culture, you will play a key role in the execution of people and culture strategies for TRIBE, supporting generalist HR activities and initiatives that enhance organisational culture, nurture employee engagement, growth and retention, and promote a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative work environment. 


This role is based in Australia, however will involve providing support and advice to all stakeholders across the organisation, including US/UK and Philippines when required.  


This role is a part-time position, offering flexibility in terms of working hours, with at least one day in the office (based on number of hours) and will provide an opportunity to develop generalist HR skills in a global organisation with a highly supportive manager.   


Some key tasks and responsibilities include:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for Global employee inquiries, escalating more complex people issues or queries in a timely manner to the Head of People & Culture
  • Update and maintain HR administration, system data, documentation and asset register
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes of all team members
  • Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
  • Coordinate learning and development opportunities
  • Lead initiatives and activities to support our company culture through social activities / events
  • Lead and support our regular All Hands company meeting schedule, drafting deck and agenda for approval
  • Support talent acquisition activities, end to end process
  • Assist managers and track probation review processes
  • Administer and manage engagement surveys, summarising outcomes and supporting the execution of engagement strategies and actions
  • WHS representative, conducting audits as required.


To qualify, you will need:


  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a HR Coordinator, or similar
  • Solid knowledge of HR compliance, legislation, and best practices in AU
  • Experience working in a SME/scale up business 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A good understanding/ familiarity working with remote/hybrid teams
  • Excellent software skills, with proficiency in HR software, google suite and/microsoft office/Slack
  • Familiarity with software implementation projects and the ability to drive successful system transitions
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging HR trends and practices.
