The role

We are at an exciting phase of modernising the front-end of our core payments product. This pivotal work will drive development efficiency, improve user experience, and unlock future product opportunities. To achieve this, we are migrating our legacy frontend systems to modern, scalable technologies, and we’re looking for a passionate engineer to help us on this transformative journey.

What You’ll Do:

• Take a hands-on role in migrating our legacy frontend architecture to modern frameworks, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with designers, and engineers to deliver a seamless, intuitive, and high-performance user experience.
• Contribute to the decision-making regarding architecture and design patterns for the new front-end system.

Tech Stack: React, Node.js, Cypress, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Jest, AngularJS

Duration: 6 to 7 months

Salary - The expected daily rate for this position ranges from €425 - €450 gross. This equates to a potential total earning of between €64,600 and €68,400 gross upon project completion.

Base salary ranges may vary and are determined by things like geography, level of experience, interview assessment and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, there is no guarantee that an offer will reach the upper limit of the stated range.
