Job Overview

Techedin is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer with a strong background in developing high-performance applications to join our team remotely on a contract basis. The position requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of work experience, and the engineer will collaborate on full-time projects with a focus on delivering cutting-edge technology solutions. The role is based in Toronto or Vancouver.

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven expertise in Java (Mandatory skill) with extensive hands-on experience in building robust applications.
• Strong understanding and experience with Microservices architecture (Mandatory skill) for creating scalable applications.
• Proficiency in AWS (Mandatory skill) to leverage cloud-based infrastructure for application development.
• Solid experience in using the Spring Framework to develop enterprise-level applications with enhanced features.
• Proficient in SQL for database querying and management, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs that facilitate smooth communication between systems.
• Familiarity with Hibernate for efficient ORM and mapping between Java classes and database tables.
• Experience with NoSQL databases to handle vast amounts of heterogeneous data efficiently.
