What You'll Do
- AI team is looking for a skilled and motivated AI Perception specialist to build innovative AI based models and enhance Volvo Cars AD&ADAS products. You will work on sensors data processing, object detection, and machine learning techniques and will be reporting to the head of AI Singapore.
- Conduct research and development on automotive-related products (e.g. AD / ADAS, Manufacturing, Quality) using AI/ML algorithms.
- Lead AI projects involving 1-2 teams, ensuring successful Proof of Concept delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-region teams/stakeholders to design and deploy innovative solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision, and apply them to ongoing projects.
- Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field. PhD is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of practical industry experience in the field of Perception AI.
- Prior experience in Automotive industry is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience collaborating with global and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.
- Self-driven and result-oriented person.
- Good communication skills across a variety of audiences (e.g. stakeholders, software team, ...
