Project Manager

Job Description

• At least 8 years of advanced technology/consulting leadership experience in project management, program management, directing, etc.
• Experience leading multiple programs from inception to completion
• Understand Agile, programming languages, cloud, microservices, DevOps and other common technologies
• Experience with budgeting, profitability, team management, stakeholder management
• Experienced in client proposals through communication and presentation to the client executives.
• Experienced in motivating team members across multiple countries to improve collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English (Benchmark: TOEIC800 for Native Japanese Speaker, JLPT N2 for For Non-Native Japanese Speaker)

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for a collection of multiple projects (programs) or for multiple interdependent projects
• Work with lead strategists, lead designers, and architects to plan and lead the information collection, analysis, and implementation of project activities to stakeholders. Determine, discuss, and agree on project deliverables.
• Define the vision for the project and communicate the required results with guidelines for achieving the results. Coordinate the work of the team throughout the activities of the project.
• Manage the alignment (consistency), promotion, reporting, and performance of the entire program, as well as meeting expected deadlines, budgets, and scope of work.
• Strengthen the capabilities of the team by coordinating additional members internal and external team, and utilizing training, coaching, and mentoring as needed.
• Plan, manage, and drive projects using GlobalLogic Japan's project management approach to ensure intended outcomes are achieved.
• Engage in the creation of a project manager organization at GlobalLogic Japan.
• Work interactively with the client and internal engineering team in the phase of MVP Development for Digital Twin product.
