Embedded Software Engineer

New vacancy in central Bristol for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join exciting company developing cutting edge optical computing technology.

******Salary £55k to £80k plus benefits depending on experience ******

Suitable Embedded Software Engineers will be well educated and need a strong background in low level Embedded C programming with excellent knowledge of ARM architecture and SoC expertise.

You should have experience using various testing frameworks, writing secure code and have experience writing specifications, test plans and reports combined with strong appreciation for the hardware.

It would also be beneficial to have knowledge of using JIRA, Jenkins, debugging tools using SWD and JTAG and any real time operating systems knowledge is advantageous.

The successful Embedded SW Engineer needs to be collaborative, an excellent communicator and able to work in a fast-changing environment.
