Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to oversee and manage global DevOps teams across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure. This role involves leading the optimization of hybrid architectures, including monolithic and microservices models, driving CI/CD pipeline enhancements, and collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver critical technical projects. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of continuous learning, ensure compliance with security standards, and act as a technical escalation point for high-priority incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage DevOps teams across multiple regions, ensuring consistent standards and alignment with business objectives.
• Execute and maintain scalable and secure global infrastructure on AWS.
• Optimize the coexistence of monolithic and microservices architectures, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline development and automation processes for efficient deployment across environments.
• Collaborate with Technical Project Managers, Cloud architects and regional DevOps Leads to deliver critical technical projects on time.
• Monitor and improve system reliability, availability, and performance across distributed systems.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and implement best practices in identity, access management and network configuration on AWS.
• Foster a culture of DevOps excellence by mentoring engineers and promoting continuous learning within the team.
• Develop and enforce standards for documentation, processes, and incident management.
• Act as a technical escalation point for high-priority incidents, working closely with on-call teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps with at least 5 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Proven expertise in managing hybrid architectures, transitioning from monolithic to microservices models.
• Strong knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of global architecture design, including multi-region deployments and failover strategies.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on scalability and performance optimisation.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global organisation.

Desirables

• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with legacy systems and strategies for modernization and migration.
• Prior experience in the iGaming or live entertainment industry.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
