We are looking for a Frontend leaning Principal Engineer to join our Sokos.fi team in Helsinki. Sokos.fi is part of the SOK Digital Development community, where we develop web services and apps for the whole S Group - digitalizing the S Group services. Your future team has developers, designers, QA, business and analytics, all working together as a team. We also have a Tech Lead looking over the whole, and a Team Lead looking after the tech people. The team is split into squads to create a meaningful and productive environment for daily work. We work in a hybrid setting so it would be great if you could work from our office Ässäkeskus in Helsinki at least 2 days per week.

Your Responsibilities

You will work shoulder to shoulder with the Sokos.fi development team to ensure smooth cooperation in technical work, backlog prioritization, maintaining and enhancing operational excellence, and optimizing ways of working. It may sound like a lot, but the key is to lead by example and elevate the team. We expect you to shape the role in a way that reflects your unique approach and experience. There will be a fair share of technical work, so you can keep your skills sharp.
