We are looking for an Engineer for Funtional Owner Engineer on site in Turin of an Automotive Premium
Funtional Owner_System requirement management, development, modification of an existing Infotainment
Responsibilities:
- Car EE Architecture: understanding of the E/E Car Architecture to identify necessary modifications for the integration of the Infotainment System within the vehicle.
- Car EE Integration: Comprehend the entire car ecosystem to pinpoint the required software changes for seamless integrations.
- Change Request: Design and oversee Change Requests, while steering the suppliers during the development phase.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze Requirements and Functional Specifications, ensuring alignment
- Customer Interface: Engage with customers in system architecture discussions through workshops and design meetings.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other teams and test departments, as well as suppliers, to steer project progress.
- Project Management: Take charge of project scheduling, management, and issue tracking to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Reporting: Generate technical reports and develop various presentation materials to communicate issues, achievements, and technical information for project evaluations and knowledge-sharing across the organization.
- Test Facility Updates: Plan and oversee software and hardware updates to test facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in systems development including Linux/Android engineering.
- Fluent English is MANDATORY because it is the official language of the project. Supplier qualification meetings will be conducted exclusively in English.
- Proficiency in Italian and/or German languages.
- European Driving Licence needed
- At least 2 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle, including systems engineering, integration, and testing in related domains.
- Strong understanding of automotive infotainment systems, including hardware and software components.
- Experience with automotive standards and protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle .
Nice to have:
• Proficiency in German languages.
• Previous experience in leadership or managerial roles.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
• Experience with software development and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of Atlassian Framework, primarily Jira and Confluence.
