Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.

What will you be doing?

• Working on a Preference Management Platform (PMP) by actively implementing the backend and frontend components of the application;
• Planning ahead and discussing ideas to keep the platform scalable for the future;
• Proposing and implementing architectural changes depending on the usage of the PMP;
• Working closely with the Product Manager and the Engineering Manager to deliver software on time with a high quality;
• Leveraging the team spirit and deliver in a fast-paced environment;

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar;
• 5+ years of experience in the implementation of backend services using Node.js and TypeScript;
• Experience with React to support the implementation of the Frontend and actively suggest ideas for improvement;
• Architectural knowledge about how to scale applications based on usage and to build a strong foundation for the future;
• Experience in working with a Product Manager and Engineering Manager to deliver software solutions on time, within budget and with the right quality;
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (nice to have);
• Hands-on experience with Google Customer Match and Google Ads (nice to have);
• Comfortable with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban;
• Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ mandatory);
• Hybrid work model – Lisbon, 2-3 times per week onsite;
• Residency in Portugal – Citizenship or Work Visa/Residence Card (eliminatory factor).
