Product Owner – Online Casino Platform

Overview: Our client is a leading online gaming software provider and a trusted partner in delivering innovative solutions. They offer a proprietary white-label casino and poker platform with seamless integrations to aggregators and direct connections to top game providers, enabling tailored gaming experiences across diverse markets. Their turnkey poker solution for real-money gaming includes a client interface, game server, back office, bonus system, single-wallet integrations, and more, making them a comprehensive provider for the industry.

As Casino Product Owner, your primary responsibilities include defining and prioritising the product roadmap, gathering and documenting requirements, driving Agile development processes, ensuring a player-centric design for an intuitive user experience, analysing performance metrics to optimise product success, and maintaining compliance and security standards across the platform.

Location: Hybrid / Remote – Stockholm, Slussen

Working Arrangements: Typically two to three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

As Casino Product Owner, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Define and prioritise the product roadmap in line with business objectives and market trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new features, functionalities, and platform improvements.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Align with the Chief Product Officer on product strategy and the CEO on overall company strategy.
• Collect, analyse, and document product requirements from internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows for development teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business, design, and technical teams.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Prioritise backlog items based on user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Champion player-focused design, ensuring the platform provides a compelling and intuitive user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and gather player feedback to guide product decisions.
• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to measure product success.
• Work with marketing, analytics, and support teams to identify areas for optimisation.
• Ensure the platform complies with gaming regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
• Maintain the highest security standards across the platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within the online casino or iGaming industry.
• Deep understanding of casino games, player behaviour, and monetisation strategies.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Fluent in Swedish; proficiency in any other language is considered an asset.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with platform integrations (e.g., payment gateways, game providers, third-party tools).
• Knowledge of international gaming regulations (e.g., PAGCOR, MGA, UKGC).
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
