Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and engineering teams to accurately track and analyze existing and new data product initiatives
• Work with large datasets on data extraction, enrichment, modeling, analysis, presentation, and visualization
• Own the design, SQL model development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards
• Act as a product owner of the Business Glossary Platform
• Work closely with business teams for data exploration/analysis activities - influencing business KPIs, roadmaps, and prioritization
• Deeply understand and empathize with customers and their journey with the product within a data perspective

• A graduate of a Bachelor of Science program or a higher level post-secondary educational program in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Operation Research, or quantitative disciplines,
• A professional with 5+ years of experience with data analytics/data warehouse analysis/data analysis, with an e-commerce background, is a plus,
• Comfortable with data warehouse concepts - fact tables, dimensions, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, etc,
• Experience with Excel, SQL, and BI, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau),
• Strong hands-on experience in data modeling, data lake, and large-scale data warehousing architecture,
• Experience in applying data and analytics to solve real-world problems and create new solutions
• Ability to tell stories with data, and deliver data-driven insights to different types of audiences
• Have an agile mindset for data product development
