Technical Writer - Abu Dhabi

We are looking for Technical Writer in Abu Dhabi.

Below is the job description: -

Contract Duration: 9 Months Contract (subject to renewal)

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation:

• Collaborate with business analysts, project stakeholders to understand the system architecture and re-engineering goals.
• Draft and maintain detailed technical documentation that aligns with the project's objectives.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders and iterate diagrams/documentation as required

Diagram Creation:

• Create clear, accurate, and professional diagrams that illustrate the following components:
• a) Frontend: User interface and user experience design.
• b) Backend (Internal System): Core application logic and processes.
• d) Integration Layer and SOA: Middleware, APIs, and service-oriented architecture.

Alignment with Standards:

• Ensure diagrams adhere to industry standards (e.g., UML, BPMN, or architectural frameworks) for clarity and consistency.
• Maintain version control for all diagrams and documentation.

Qualification & Experience:

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Proven experience as a Technical Writer in IT, software development, or system re-engineering projects.
• Strong background in creating architecture diagrams (UML, flowcharts, ERD, etc.).

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic & English
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar diagramming software.
• Familiarity with frontend, backend, integration, and database concepts.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and system integration layers.

Education and Other Qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
