Exciting opportunity for a UI Developer - ReactJS for a contract to hire position in Salt Lake City, UT!! In this role you will work 3 days/week in the office.

At least 8 years professional experience with React framework – including React hooks, styled components and react routes is a must.

At least 8 years professional experience with Web Technologies including HTML, CSS, SASS and Bootstrap is a must

Experience with creating cross-browser/mobile compatible and standard compliant CSS based page layouts.

Develop and maintain corporate websites, using technology to enhance the user experience on the corporate website.

See Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Develop features and improvements to the Client’s products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way

You’ll work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features

Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.

Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.

You'll help improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the Frontend features both in your group and features that benefit other groups.

You’ll help identify areas of improvements in the code base, both specific to your group and outside your group (eg. component library) and help contribute to make it better

You’ll learn, collaborate and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they’ve been in the industry.

You’ll fix prioritized issues from the issue tracker.

Position specific requirements:

Professional experience with React framework – including React hooks, styled components and react routes is a must.

Professional experience with Web Technologies including HTML, CSS, SASS and Bootstrap is a must

Professional experience with other JavaScript libraries including Angular, Vue JS, Node JS

Experience with creating cross-browser/mobile compatible and standard compliant CSS based page layouts.

Experience using front end tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign CC, CorelDraw, GIMP, Sketch, Adobe XD, Visio, Cacoo, Miro (all of these are a plus)

Experience with using GIT (source control)

Experience with Sitecore is a plus

Experience producing wireframes and prototypes quickly and effectively.

Must know how to denote UI elements such as images, button and menus in diagrammatic form.

Proficiency in visual communication which include and understanding of layouts, color, typography, icons, images and design theory.

Experience with front end design systems such as architecture, modules, components, interfaces and data.

Strong experience with cross browser compatibility issues and optimization for web.
