Job title: Security Lead (Vulnerability)

My client is looking for a world class Security Engineer to take on a lead role driving remediation and response to vulnerabilities. The team fosters a collaborative environment and is building a best-in-class program to partner with the business to protect the Firm’s information and computer systems.

Role:

• Be a subject matter expert for vulnerabilities and threat intelligence analysis.
• Perform periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments of systems, internal applications and Cloud services to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Threat detection - Analyse/monitor security infrastructure and detect potential threats
• Analyse cyber threat intelligence and mitigate threats/improve security posture.
• End to end incident management, including investigation
• Develop and deploy detections/rules to prevent threats
• Stakeholder management

Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience in security operations, security engineering, incident response, or systems administration.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell
• Extensive knowledge of security engineering concepts
• High level understanding Cloud, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, email, networking, data transmission and encryption protocols
• hands on creating detections
• hands on experience within incident management/response
