Security Solutions Architect

Job Description

Within the Service Center ICT Security, we are looking for an IT Security Architect. In this role, you will support business solution architects by:

• Conducting cyber risk assessments.
• Guiding colleagues in applying the security reference architecture.
• Providing decision-makers with technical and strategic security insights.

Responsibilities

• Management and development of security architecture:
• Develop, maintain, and manage the security reference architecture in alignment with business needs and technological trends.
• Collaboration with architectural teams:
• Work closely with enterprise and domain architects to design security solutions and enhance business strategies.
• Assessment of the current security landscape:
• Assessment of the current security landscape:
• Review and evaluate the organization's security posture in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Participation in business projects:
• Represent security architecture in various projects, addressing all security-related architectural aspects. Identify IT risks early in the project lifecycle and collaborate with project teams to design the required security levels.
• Leadership in technical evaluations:
• Take a leading role in reviewing projects and assessing solutions within the Technical Review Board.
• Security design evaluations:
• Review and present security designs, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and standards.
• Point of Contact for security architecture inquiries:
• Act as the first point of contact for all security-related architectural questions.
• Risk assessments and recommendations:
• Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations.

• SOC Operations & Reporting

Practical Information:

• Duration: 1 year with potential extension upon positive evaluation
• Languages: Dutch/English
• Work regime: Full-time
