Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business/System Analyst with expertise in Quality of Service (QoS) and non-retail projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of financial products, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between financial concepts and software design. The role requires proactive problem-solving and the capability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and document business requirements for non-retail financial projects, focusing on Quality of Service (QoS).
Develop clear, concise documentation to describe financial flows and system interactions.
Map complex financial concepts to existing software designs and frameworks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of project goals.
Investigate and resolve issues autonomously, ensuring continuity of service.
Provide subject matter expertise on financial market instruments and their application within software systems.

Qualifications

Core Knowledge:

Deep understanding of financial products and concepts, including rate curves, volatility, bonds, swaps, options, and more.
Familiarity with financial operations, such as trade vs. instrument concepts, collateral management, SWIFT messaging, payment processing, and custodian/clearinghouse workflows (preferred).

Technical Skills:

Ability to translate financial concepts into software design and system requirements.
Proficiency in documenting and describing financial workflows clearly and effectively.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions for financial market-related issues.
Proactive and independent work style with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
