DevOps Engineer Profile

Experience:

• 5 years in DevOps roles, specializing in automation and infrastructure management.
• Extensive experience in enterprise environments, application administration, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Adept in agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Preferably experienced in the financial sector.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Operating Systems:

• Proficient in Linux (including Red Hat Enterprise Linux), skilled in system administration and shell scripting.

Cloud Platforms:

• Experience with Azure DevOps, including setting up and managing Azure Pipelines for CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS (Compute, Functions, Storage, AKS/EKS, etc.).

Configuration Management & Automation:

• Expertise in using Git for version control.
• Skilled in Ansible for configuration management and automating infrastructure tasks.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud resources.

Containerization & Orchestration:

• Proficient in Docker for containerizing applications and services.
• Experienced with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

Security:

• Experience with OpenSSL and TLS certificate management.
• Knowledge of SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Nexus IQ for vulnerability scanning and remediation.

Middleware:

• Familiar with Jboss EAP and integration tools like REST/JSON APIs, API management platforms (Kong), and IBM MQ.
