DevOps Consultant

Required Experience:

• Onsite: 10+ years of experience
• Offshore: 5-8 years of experience

Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Atlassian Stack Expertise: Experience in administering Atlassian tools like JIRA and Bitbucket.
• JIRA/Bitbucket Administration:
• Ability to install and manage JIRA/Bitbucket applications on servers, containers, or Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage users and groups in JIRA.
• Create and manage repositories and projects in Bitbucket.
• Build workflows, including adding custom fields, conditions, validators, and post functions in JIRA.
• Create full project schemes from concept to functional operation in JIRA.
• Application Health & Monitoring: Experience in maintaining application health, monitoring server health, and taking preventive actions.
• Upgrades: Ability to assist in or perform upgrades to core applications like JIRA server and Bitbucket server.
• Automation & CI/CD: Automating tasks using Ansible, experience with CI/CD toolsets.
• Linux OS & Shell Scripting: Hands-on experience with Linux OS and shell scripting.
• Containerization & Deployment: Experience with Docker and application deployment on Kubernetes clusters.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Azure Cloud, Terraform, and Azure DevOps (preferable).
• Additional Atlassian Tools: Knowledge of other Atlassian tools like Bamboo and Confluence.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile development practices.
