Cloud Architect (Infrastructure)

Job Description
Danfoss Group IT & Digital is seeking an experienced and passionate Cloud Architect (infrastructure) with a focus on public cloud and platform engineering to join our Infrastructure Architecture team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our hybrid and multi cloud infrastructure architecture, ensuring it is scalable, secure, reliable, and optimized for the developer experience. You will work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to develop and implement cloud platform servicesthat meet the needs of our business.

As a part of the Platform engineering journey, you are a vital part of the team, as we implement a multi and hybrid cloud approach based on AWS, Azure, GCP and private cloud.

Job Responsibilities
In Your Daily Job You Will

• Analyze the current state, design, and develop architecture road maps for future implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and application requirements then translate them into scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Drive our adoption of Cloud technologies by designing and implementing a hybrid cloud architecture according to industry standards and best practices.
• Stay up to date on the latest cloud technologies and approaches related to platform engineering.
• Advocate for developer-centric infrastructure and tooling.
  
  

Background & Skills
Your Profile
The perfect candidate should have worked as a cloud architect for 3-5 year and have the following skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and oral English language skills.
• Consulting and technical skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Sound knowledge in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• In depth knowledge of the major cloud providers (Azure, GCP and AWS)
• Experienced in cloud adoption frameworks (CAF) or similar.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
