Industrial System Design (HVAC and Piping) Engineer

We are seeking an Industrial System Design Engineer with expertise in HVAC, piping, and related specialist areas to join our client's team in Norway.
Our client is a leading pan-Nordic consulting firm based in Norway, with nearly 140 offices across Scandinavia. Specializing in engineering and validation services for the pharmaceutical, food, and medical equipment sectors, they are renowned for their expertise in high-demand industries. With a strong track record in planning and advisory services, particularly in food and pharmaceutical facilities, they work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of clean and sustainable industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead assignments and manage both professional and disciplinary responsibilities, with a focus on core technical subjects.
- Supervise and mentor a team of talented employees, driving technical excellence and innovation.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions tailored to client needs and industry challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead both single-disciplinary and interdisciplinary tender processes to win new business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients to foster business growth.
Key Qualification:
- A strong educational background in HVAC, climate, energy, chemical engineering, and/or refrigeration technology (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
- At least 7 years of proven experience in relevant industries, preferably pharmaceuticals, food, and hospitals.
- Have experience with software like Revit MEP or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Norwegian and English (both written and oral).
- Utility system knowledge – typically heating and cooling systems, compressed air and gas systems.
Location:
- The ideal candidate should either already reside in or be willing to relocate to Sandvika, Oslo, or nearby areas in Norway.
- The client also offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week at the office, with the remaining days working from home.
